Dreams and other things

Hallo-what's up my peeps? :)

Thanksgiving was okay. My fam went to great grandma's and I mostly just listened to the adults talk, and kinda-sorta watched football with my dad out of extreme boredom. When I watch any sports, that just shows how incredibly bored I am. :|

This week will be BUSY. Tonight's youth group & we're decorating a float for a Christmas parade I'm not going to go to (I have other plans Friday night), tomorrow night I (might) have movie making club with my homeschool group (more on that later), Friday my homeschool group is having a progressive dinner for the teens and I didn't get to go last year. I don't want to miss out on yummy food :D HA! Then Saturday morning my church is doing pictures for their directory...Next week I'm goin to a Christmas party then prepare for the trip to Leander to visit my grandma. *deep breath*

Quick history of the Movie Making Club: A few people wanted to start out with something simple, like a silent film that lasted only a few minutes. That's not how things worked out...one dude is, well, very passionate about the whole movie directing scene. He wanted to do like, really elaborate movies let's just say. Jack and the Beanstalk, Wind in the Willows, Sleepy Hallow, etc!! We wrote down these ideas and voted. In the end Sleepy Hallow won. My sister is playing Mr. Knickerbocker's wife and I'm in charge of props. The dude who is passionate about movies wants to get a boom mic and get a bunch of crazily expensive equipment and stuff. It's...yeah...

I'm not sure if I should include this in here, cuz it's really really worthless and I only want to write it so it'll take up some space...

*sits silently in a corner and thinks*

Um, last night I had this freaky dream that I was in our church fellowship hall. I don't know what I was doing in there but I think I was preparing snacks?... Anyway there's this extra room in our fellowship hall that serves as a snack room on Wednesday nights and in my dream I went in there and started cleaning it or something. There were these huge bugs in there hidin under chairs and even though I was freaking out I pretended to not notice. Then I saw these 2 giant ants on this high chair with what looked like oatmeal cookies in their mouths. They stared at me and waved. 0_o I ran out of there screaming my brains out.
The rest of it had to do with my sister and I renting Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (it was out already-and on a VIDEO CASSETTE!). We tried to watch it but we were like "I'm getting bored of this.." "Yea let's stop watching it.." o_0

This just proves my dreams never make any sense whatsoever and don't mean anything. It also proves what a moron I am :)

Ohhh speaking of dreams guess what?!

In October I had this tragic dream that all the m&ms in the world got destroyed and they were wiped off the face of the earth (I would never be able to live in a world like that... o_o). The next day my grandma took me, my sisters and mom to an outlet mall and guess what I saw? An m&ms vending machine. It was out of order. That will scar me for life.. 0_0

recap of last night

K, so this year I have a pretty fun youth group. Last night pretty much all of the kids got to go to a Pocket Full of Rocks concert. It was sooo fun!! :3
First, before the concert started my friend (I don't think I'll give out names-sorry ^^;) & her friend were taking a bunch of random pictures, and they tried to get some stupid pictures of all the guys who were sitting in the pew in front of us. (All the girls in youth group were in one pew & all the guys in the other) We took a lot of funny pics of them but one dude stole the camera and deleted all the pics we took of them! :'[ Luckily, a while later we got the camera back & another dude volunteered to take another funny pic for us. The result was priceless!!! XD It didn't get deleted either!! :)
Along with Pocket Full of Rocks, there was another guy performing called Todd Agnew or something like that. In the middle of the picture taking thing, we saw Todd walk out this door and the guy who took the funny pic for us yelled "hey!! That's the guy on the ticket!" (our tickets had Todd's picture on it) We waved at him and he barely waved back. haha :3
Once the concert started me and almost all the other girls would stand up whenever a really awesome, emotional song played. While we were praising & worshipping the Lord, all the guys were sitting down, completely unmoved and looked as if they couldn't be any more bored. (Later I found out they said it was "too loud")
While I like had my hands in the air & singing and all that, a few of the guys stared at me like I was some freak of nature, then would start smiling & giggling. Oh well...that don't stop me from praisin the Lord :3
During intermission, my friends and I were hanging out, people watching & playing a brief game of "See how long you can balance on one leg". I don't remember who won.. The crowd was CRAZY. It was like, a mob. To travel around I had to say " 'scuse me 'scuse me 'scuse me" repeatedly. LOL xD
Once intermission was over & the concert started up again, I was having a really righteous time! Then the lead singer of Pocket Full of Rocks said "Everyone, just close your eyes, no one's looking, we're going to play a few more songs..." I closed my eyes & I could sense the best part of the night was coming. I felt someone behind me poke me. I opened my eyes real quick & I saw an arm reach out and poke one of the guys in front of us. I turned around and one my youth group leaders said "Emilie, we have to go." I was so...MAD!!!! I was having a really good time & I could really sense the best part was coming!!! >:(
Oh well, all in all it was a fun night.

In February, there will be Winter Jam Tour Spectacular!!!!

About the little "Broken Bow adventure". Not much happened. Just hiked around a little (I was reallllllly tired and almost fell a couple times XP), swam a little (I mostly sat on this rock and watched everyone..haha) and ate. Nothin major..

I'm a little depressed that school's starting up (we start Monday-and I'm homeschooled btw). I wanted to do tons of stuff this summer but nothing really..happened. Summer of twenty ten wasn't as fun as I thought it would be. BUT-I did get closer to da Lord than I ever have in like 4-5 years and I'm so overjoyed that it finally happened :D :D :D ALSO-this summer I did get an idea of where I belong in His Kingdom so that's pretty awesome too. :3

Anyway hopefully I'll score a pair of skinnies before school starts. I've been trying to get some all summer but I got distracted by graphic tees...I'm so obsessed with those...

I need more followers...or maybe I deserve the number I have cuz my posts are so boring XP I am sorry, my life is not very dramatic, but whatever...I like it anyway. Sometimes. WAIT-then why would my blog be called "My crazy weird world" if my life isn't very dramatic or exciting??!! Ughhhhhh..........I think I need to shut up now. I'm sorry...

The trip & other stuff....

First off...the trip was, overall, kind of unusual and kind of fun...

There were only girls signed up to go so it was pretty much a girls only retreat. BUT a six year old boy had to be taken with us too (cuz he didn't get to go to church camp -.-'). Yaaa um..he kept trying to..get in my personal space let's just say...anyway he kept getting on everyone's nerves and calling us weird names he just pulled out of the sky so we called him "laughing butter-bean". It suits him well I think..

Before we got to the campgrounds we stopped by at a museum. I wanted to poke the dinosaur skeleton soooo bad!!! XD There were really awesome "mood necklaces" and stuff at the gift shop. Too bad I didn't have my precious wallet...

The cabin was HUGE!! And very pretty :3 Everyone was freaking out because there was a hot tub there and they were all "I WANNA GET IN THE HOT TUB!! CAN WE GET IN THE HOT TUB?!" After we hung out in the lousy old hot tub, we were going to have a "beauty pageant". We were divided into 2 teams, and my team chose me to be the one to get all dressed up and show off my "talent" and such. I don't have any talents that can be displayed before an audience...so I had to make up a retarted dance on the spot. Hehe I won :)

Next day we went canoeing. I had never been before..I got paired up with my youth group teacher, Mrs. Abbie and Butter-bean. We were paddling in a very unusual way and that resulted in making our canoe go in all these random circles. We must've looked like a washing machine....Butter-bean was thrashing around and I was freaking out cuz I thought he was gonna tip the thing over (the water was 40 ft deep, btw. And I can't swim). I could tell the surfer dudes at the canoe place thought we were idiots..but what the heck..

In between all of this there was consumption of fudge, freakishly icy water, lots of Bible study, criticizing Justin Beiber (why am I even capitalizing his name??), going through a museum backwards (on purpose), being annoyed by Butter-bean, and annoying Butter-bean himself.

One of the best parts of this trip was trying to convert a Belieber to Skillet. And it worked!! Sort of. We all kept torturing her with the question "ok now that you've heard Skillet, who do you like better?!" In the end, she confessed she liked Skillet and JB equally. I was so proud of myself.

Pretty much the only thing I've been doing this week is watching as many episodes as I can of "Full Moon o Sagashite". I'm really lovin it :D My fave episode so far is 11 so I think I shall post it when I'm finished with this...and I read this really awesome & epic book (Prism by Faye and Aliza Kellerman). If you're into sci-fi or thrillers, I definitely recommend it :D

Oh and my favorite character in Full Moon is Takuto so I drew a piccy of him :3

Starting around two weeks ago.

Went to Leander to visit my grandma.

Saw Toy Story 3 while I was there. Omg it was sooo freakin good!!! I definitely recommend go seeing it if you've seen the other Toy Story's. The baby and monkey will scar me for life though. o.o

Went to Wendy's before the movie and lost my mind and for some reason ordered a sour cream and chive potato with fries. -.- Uhm yesh...this kind of thing happens to me a lot. Anyway that will scar me for life as well..ugh.

Spent the night with meh bud down there. Haha...silly, silly times ^.^

Went to the pool. Public pools are some of my least favorite things in the world, unless they're almost desolate, which it was once we were there for a while. I really hate them because...idk...I feel like I'm being stared at? or something. But nearly every person cleared out pretty quickly. I was so thankful.
Attempted to go a second time a few days later. It was closed for some reason. Olivia, never without a crazed quote on her tongue blurted out "I FEEL like I've wasted my ENTIRE LIFE!" It's now on my list of Facebook Quotes.

Consumed lots of Izze Soda, popcorn, watermelon, Nutella, chips...basically a whole five days of unwholesome crap.

Stopped by at Cici's and Barnes and Noble the last day. Saw the evil twin of a celeb and several other people I know. See, according to me and Olivia's theory, everyone has an evil twin. Everyone. Even you do. Your evil twin dresses like you, does their hair like you, maybe even talks and walks like you do! There can even be evil triplets or evil quadruplets or maybe even evil quintuplets. BUT...you never see your evil person. You never have and never will. You weren't destined to. Other people can though. And I saw the evil twin of Bruce Davison. o.o

At Barnes and Noble I began an epic search for volume two in some mangas I'm reading. Couldn't find volume two for ANY of them! (What is up with Barnes and Noble not having part two of anything?) But I bought volumes three and four anyway. Surprisingly, it actually sort of makes sense even without my dear volume two. Btw, the mangas I'm reading are Kasumi and Full Moon O Sagashite. I'm obsessed with Full Moon...it has an anime too but I love the manga so much better. It's...more dark and serious. The anime's cute but doesn't go along with the manga too well. I really like watching it though. :)

Sorry if this post was boring and the last thing about Barnes and Noble didn't make sense -.-"
But hopefully I'll be able to post something more interesting when I get back from a camp/youth retreat thing Thursday. I'm leaving tomorrow. I don't exactly want to go but...let's see what the heck's gonna happen.

So..yeah I'm gonna try to post stuff at least once a week. I might post a vid, a hilarious sticker I randomly found, or write out some deep thoughts..whatever.
